The process behind the care

Four parts. One personalized approach.

The office-based program featured in Orange Coast brings together evaluation, laser treatment, professional nail care, and an ongoing home routine. Your plan may include some or all of these elements, depending on your evaluation.

01

Evaluation & Laser Treatment

Dr. Roth evaluates your nails and reviews your health history to help determine the cause of the changes. Testing may be recommended. If laser treatment is part of your plan, the office will explain the recommended sessions and costs.

02

Professional Nail Care

Your office care may include trimming or thinning thickened nails, along with practical instructions for caring for your nails between visits.

03

A Consistent At-Home Routine

Follow the routine prescribed for you, which may include topical products, nighttime nail covering, and care for the surrounding skin. Clear instructions help you stay consistent.

04

Individualized Medication & Support

Dr. Roth considers your medical history, current medications, and any necessary laboratory results before recommending prescription treatment. Supportive products and supplements may also be discussed.

Interested in patient examples? View the separate before-and-after gallery. Individual results vary; office-treatment examples do not establish results from at-home care alone.

An option for eligible California patients

Prefer to Begin From Home?

Personalized nail care, from the comfort of home.

The NailCur at-home program starts with information about your nails, photographs, and your medical history. Dr. Roth reviews your information and determines the next steps.

Some patients may need testing, additional medical information, or an office examination before a treatment plan can be finalized.

Start Your NailCur Screening →

What happens next?

  1. Begin the screening and follow the instructions for submitting your information and nail photos.
  2. The office coordinates your evaluation and any additional information needed.
  3. After your treatment plan is approved and payment is arranged, eligible prescribed products can be shipped with home-care instructions.

Starting a screening does not guarantee eligibility or a prescription. The at-home program does not include office-based laser treatment.

A Few Helpful Answers

Should I choose laser treatment or at-home care?

You do not have to make that decision alone. Dr. Roth evaluates your concerns and recommends next steps based on your nails and medical history. Call the office if you would prefer help getting started.

What if I am not sure my nail changes are caused by fungus?

An evaluation is the place to start. Not all thickened or discolored nails are caused by fungus, and testing may be needed before treatment is recommended.

Does the $299 starter kit include laser treatment?

No. Laser treatment and other office services are separate from the at-home starter kit. The office will explain recommended services and pricing before you proceed.

Will I automatically receive oral medication?

No. Dr. Roth determines whether oral medication is appropriate after reviewing your health information. Additional laboratory results or information from another treating clinician may be needed.

How long does improvement take?

Toenails grow slowly, and visible changes can take months. Your timeline depends on your nails, diagnosis, and treatment plan. A cure or specific cosmetic result is not guaranteed.

Can someone help me get started?

Yes. Call 949-650-1147 for help with the next step or to discuss scheduling an office visit.
